Welcome to Mariehamn!
Mariehamn is the only town on the Åland Islands. It was founded in 1861 and is a maritime town in many ways. Here I present two sightseeing tours.
The first tour can be done walking, by bike, by car or by bus. It will of course differ a little bit depending on the means of transport. The second tour is a hiking tour along the water.
City Tour - 1,5 hours
Mariehamn is a small town situated on an isthmus. We are approximately 11.500 inhabitants. This tour can be done walking, by bike or by bus.
I will tell you about our history - the town was founded in 1861 when we belonged to Russia, our architecture, parks special buildings. I will tell you about the different eras of this town and stories from here.
I will tell you about our maritime history and the man who had the largest fleet of tall ships in the world. I will also tell you about our special status, our flag and stamps.

Mariehamn as a beautiful trail along the water on both sides of the peninsula. We will walk along the path, while I tell you about our town and the Åland Islands.
There will be a lot of photo opportunities. We will adjust the length of the walk according to your needs and your time 😊.
